Welcome to Prairie Woolens - your home for wool fabrics!
We are a small family owned business that started online in 2010. In 2017 we expanded to our retail store, Prairie Woolens Quilt Shop, located in historic small town Paullina Iowa at 203B S. Wood St, and included quilting fabrics, notions and more wools.
We currently carry over 80 bolts of 100% wool, along with artisan hand dyed wool and also wool felt. We currently have over 165 colors of blended wool felt and 22 colors of 100% wool felt.
In our store, we offer many products that are not available on our website. We offer over 1000 bolts of cotton along with our long arm quilting service - both free hand and computerized stitching. Sewing machine repair or tune ups for most makes and models of machines are also available right on site. No shipping it out for repairs.
We're open Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 10am - 5pm We're also available other times as needed - Just call (712) 229-0341 and we can set a time!
We're located at 203 S Wood St in Paullina, Ia. Just use the north gravel driveway and come on in!

Our first show of 2026 will be St. Louis for Quilt!, Knit!, Stitch! Apr. 10-12. Then we are heading to St. Cloud MN for Minnesota Quilt Show June 11-13 more shows coming soon.
